Vasanta Bhavan is a vegetarian Tamil restaurant in Dubai with multiple locations. It is well-known for serving high-quality vegetarian food at reasonable prices. Their Rava onion dosa, idlis, and filter coffee are excellent. The average meal for two people costs AED 50.

Another pure vegetarian South Indian restaurant in JLT is Ananda Bhavan. They serve traditional South Indian and other vegetarian meals. Their Gobi Manchurian, Masala dosa, and Mushroom soup are some of the highly recommended dishes. Having visited this restaurant a few times, I am happy to say that I have had some of the best dosa in Dubai here. A typical meal for two people costs AED 50.

3. Calicut Paragon

Calicut Paragon is a must-visit if you want to sample India’s coastal cuisine, particularly Malabar cuisine. This Keralan restaurant is particularly well-known for its delicious seafood at a reasonable price. If you like crabs, Crab Tushar is a must-try. A meal for two costs about AED 120 on average.

4. Fisherman’s Hub

Fisherman’s Hub is a sports bar and multi-cuisine restaurant located in the Arabian Courtyard Hotel Meena bazaar. They also offer alcoholic drinks. The atmosphere is lively. It’s a great place to watch some games while eating delicious food and drinking refreshing beverages.

Some of their specialties include fish and chips, prawns, and Neer dosa. AED 120 is the average cost of two meals.

5. Saarangaa Bhojan Shala

Saarangaa Bhojan Shala is a multi-cuisine vegetarian restaurant with multiple locations in Dubai. Their chefs are from Tamil Nadu and Kerala, so your food will be authentic. Some of their best dishes include masala dosa, idli, and mushroom curry. They also offer North Indian and Chinese cuisine.

Woodlands is one of Dubai’s oldest restaurants. For over three decades, some families have dined at this all-vegetarian restaurant. While the restaurant’s interior is rather simple, it is well known for authentic and high-quality South Indian cuisine as well as excellent customer service. The menu is reasonably priced.

Diners’ favorites include their filter coffee, Medu vada, Masala Dosa, and Puri Bhaji. A meal for two people costs AED 50 on average.

8. Madrasi Food House

Madrasi Food House is a cafe-style small restaurant that serves pure vegetarian South Indian food. The menu and seating capacity are limited, but the food and service are excellent. It’s also a great spot for breakfast for those who live in JLT.

A complete meal costs only AED 20. Dosa, Upma, and Puri Bhaji are other house specialties. A meal for two people costs about AED 40 on average.

9. Sangeetha Vegetarian Restaurant

Sangeetha is a pure vegetarian restaurant serving South Indian cuisine in multiple locations in Dubai. The interior is simple and clean.

The restaurant is famous for its crispy Dosas. Paniaram, which is available only on Friday, is highly recommended by many visitors. A meal for two costs AED 80. 12. Mami’s Illam
